Planning and implementing marketing and PR initiatives for a typical start-up, widespread local and nationwide press coverage, winning major clients and reaching break-even after three months. 

The US holding company consolidated the European business before Symantec Inc./USA acquired @stake. Information can now be found under the Symantec website.

Sales Director, Germany and DACH Region

Market development and sales of IT security consulting and managed security services to major multinational accounts. Development of a market-relevant sales strategy and implementation of an efficient sales process. Restructuring of the sales force and sales strategies. Build-up of a customer pipeline, especially for the core service line 'Managed Security Services'. Customer acquisition of major multinational accounts. Implementation of sales supporting marketing activities such as client events and specific PR roadshows.

Part of Defcom Security was acquired by the risk consulting company ProAct/Denmark, the UK company was acquired by NetSec. The offices outside Scandinavia were subsequently closed. More information can now be found under the website of ProAct.
